New Orleans, LA (SportsNetwork.com) – San Francisco 49ers linebacker Patrick
Willis will miss Sunday’s game against New Orleans.
Willis is inactive for the third game in a row because of a toe injury which
kept him out of practice all week. The eight-year veteran has 34 tackles and
one interception in six games this season.
Rookie Chris Borland is expected to make his third straight start in Willis’
place.
Linebacker Dan Skuta (ankle) and cornerback Tramaine Brock (toe) are also
among the inactives for San Francisco.
