Lake Forest, IL (SportsNetwork.com) – The Chicago Bears signed Teddy Williams
off of Arizona’s practice squad and waived linebacker Terrell Manning on
Wednesday.
The 6-1, 207-pound Williams has appeared in 10 games over two seasons with
Indianapolis (2012) and Arizona (2013), seeing time on offense as a wide
receiver, defense as a cornerback and special teams as a kick returner.
Williams originally entered the NFL with the Cowboys in 2010, spending a
majority of the 2010 and 2011 seasons on Dallas’ practice squad.
Manning appeared in two games for the Bears in 2014, seeing time on special
teams. He has appeared in eight NFL contests over three seasons with Green Bay
(2012), San Diego (2013) and Chicago (2014).
