Cincinnati, OH (SportsNetwork.com) – Cincinnati Bengals running back Giovani
Bernard and linebacker Vontaze Burfict have been ruled out for Sunday’s game
against the New Orleans Saints.
Bernard will miss his third consecutive game due to hip and shoulder injuries,
while Burfict is still recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery on Oct. 29.
Cornerback Terrence Newman (knee) and linebacker Rey Maualuga (hamstring) are
questionable. Newman did not practice all week, while Maualuga was limited on
Wednesday and Thursday before participating fully in Friday’s session.
Maualuga has missed the last four games.
In addition, right tackle Andre Smith (ankle) was listed as doubtful.
