Englewood, CO (SportsNetwork.com) – The Denver Broncos placed starting middle
linebacker Nate Irving on injured reserve Thursday.
Irving injured his right knee at New England on Nov. 2 and will be sidelined
for the rest of the season.
The 26-year-old started Denver’s first eight games of the season and totaled
46 tackles and one sack.
To fill his roster spot, the Broncos claimed rookie linebacker Todd Davis off
waivers from the Saints. Davis went undrafted out of Sacramento State.
