Kansas City, MO (SportsNetwork.com) – Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas
was inactive for Sunday night’s AFC West clash against the Kansas City Chiefs
because of a sprained left ankle.
Thomas, who has an NFL-best 12 receiving touchdowns this season, was sidelined
for a second straight week.
Top Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib is also among the inactives because of a
hamstring injury.
Linebacker Brandon Marshall, the Broncos’ leading tackler, is active after
passing the NFL protocol for a concussion he sustained against Miami last
week.
Running backs Ronnie Hillman (foot) and Montee Ball (groin) remain sidelined
for Denver.
