Cards’ Ellington out vs. Chiefs

Tempe, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) – Arizona Cardinals running back Andre
Ellington will miss Sunday’s Week 14 game against Kansas City with an injured
hip.

Ellington left Arizona’s Week 13 loss to Atlanta with a hip pointer, and was
unable to practice in the week leading up to the game with the Chiefs.

In 12 games this season, Ellington has totaled 660 rushing yards and three
touchdowns, while adding 46 catches for 395 yards and two touchdowns.

Running backs Stepfan Taylor, Robert Hughes, Marion Grice and the recently-
signed Michael Bush will fill in for Ellington.

Also listed as out for the Cardinals are safety Tyrann Mathieu (thumb), guard
Paul Fanaika (ankle) and defensive end Ed Stinson (toe).

After missing Arizona’s last two games with a knee injury, wide receiver Larry
Fitzgerald is expected to be a game-time decision, though he was a full
participant in Friday’s practice.

Linebacker Larry Foote (foot) and tackle Jared Veldheer (ankle) are also
considered questionable for Sunday’s game. Linebackers Lorenzo Alexander
(knee) and Kenny Demens (hamstring) are probable.
