Orchard Park, NY (SportsNetwork.com) – San Diego Chargers running back Danny
Woodhead was carted off the field minutes into Sunday’s game against Buffalo
with an apparent leg injury.
Woodhead’s right leg twisted awkwardly underneath him at the end of a 1-yard
carry less than 3 1/2 minutes into the game.
A trainer held the leg to stabilize it as Woodhead was carted off.
The Chargers were already without starting running back Ryan Mathews, who is
expected to miss several weeks because of a right knee sprain.
