Kansas City, MO (SportsNetwork.com) – Jamaal Charles and Knile Davis combined
for three rushing touchdowns and the Kansas City defense made some key stops
down the stretch in a 24-20 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
Charles carried the ball 20 times for 159 yards and two touchdowns for the
Chiefs (7-3), who have won five in a row. Davis’ 4-yard TD run with 13:41 to
play gave Kansas City the lead.
Alex Smith completed 11-of-16 passes for 108 yards for the Chiefs, who
improved to 21-5 at Arrowhead Stadium against the Seahawks.
Russell Wilson connected on 20-of-32 passes for 178 yards and two touchdowns
for the Seahawks (6-4), who had a three-game winning streak snapped. He also
carried the ball eight times for 71 yards.
Marshawn Lynch rushed for 124 yards on 24 carries for Seattle, which lost
center Max Unger to a leg injury in the fourth quarter.
