Frisco, TX (SportsNetwork.com) – Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was
arrested Monday night and charged with misdemeanor theft after police say he
shoplifted items from a department store.
The Frisco Police Department says it was dispatched to a Dillard’s department
store on a shoplifting call and made contact with Randle, who had been
detained by store security.
Police determined Randle had removed items — reportedly cologne and underwear
— without purchasing them and he was arrested on a class B misdemeanor charge
of theft between $50 and $500.
Randle was booked in the Frisco City Jail and later released on bond.
A day earlier, the second-year backup rushed for 52 yards on just five carries
in a win over Seattle.
