Dolphins place Davis on IR; bring back Jalil Brown

Davie, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – The Miami Dolphins made it official Saturday
and placed cornerback Will Davis on injured reserve because of a knee injury
he suffered in Thursday’s game against Buffalo.

Davis was hurt while making a tackle on a Buffalo punt return in the third
quarter of Miami’s 22-9 victory. The 2013 third-round pick out of Utah State
played 10 games this season.

The Dolphins filled the roster spot by signing cornerback Jalil Brown, who
spent time with Miami last season but did not appear in a game.

Brown played two games with Indianapolis this season before being released
earlier this month. The fourth-year veteran appeared in 29 games for Kansas
City in his first two seasons.
