Atlanta Falcons at Miami Dolphins
When: 8:00 PM ET, Thursday, August 25, 2016
Where: Camping World Stadium, Orlando, Florida
America’s Bookie Line: Dolphins -2 Total: 42
Both teams are coming off disappointing seasons and have a lot to prove in 2016. Miami just can’t seem to get over the hump and the Falcons have enough talent to do something, but also seems they can’t get things in overdrive. The third preseason game is always the one where the starters play the most and that is why Miami is a great play in this situation.
Atlanta is typically not the best on the road on natural turf and this is a great spot for Ryan Tannehill and the reworked Fins offensive to see what they have. Atlanta has holes all over the field and while I think they will be a solid team this year with a guy like Matt Ryan at the helm, there are many position groups that lack the depth for the Dirty Birds to be a true contender.
Look for Miami to get off the a good start in this one and for their defense front seven, their best unit overall, to be an x factor in helping cause at least a turnover or two. Tannehill and the Dolphins running game will be a factor in this one as well and i think this could end up out of reach for Atlanta by the third quarter.
