Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) – Linebacker Mychal Kendricks will miss
his third straight game Sunday when the Philadelphia Eagles play the St. Louis
Rams.
Kendricks has yet to practice since suffering a calf injury in Week 2. The
California product has 13 tackles and one sack in two games this season.
Marcus Smith, Emmanuel Acho and Casey Matthews have formed a three-man
rotation at inside linebacker in place of the injured Kendricks.
The Eagles’ injury-riddled offensive line will get back right tackle Lane
Johnson on Sunday. Johnson was sidelined for the first four games without pay
by the NFL in late July for violating the league’s policy on performance-
enhancing substances.
Cornerback Brandon Boykin (hamstring) is questionable despite practicing on
Thursday and Friday.
