Ex-Texas A&M, Rams LB Kelm dies

College Station, TX (SportsNetwork.com) – Former Texas A&M and NFL linebacker
Larry Kelm died in a hunting accident, the university announced Monday.

Kelm died over the weekend, the university said. He was 49.

The university said he died hunting with friends and that the accident was not
gun-related.

Kelm played linebacker for Texas A&M from 1983-86 and was taken in the fourth
round of the NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams in 1987. He played six seasons
for the Rams and one for the San Francisco 49ers.

Texas A&M said his funeral will be held Monday, Dec. 1, in The Woodlands,
Texas.
