FCS Top 25 Roundup – Week 5

(SportsNetwork.com) – Eligible for the Patriot League title for the first time
since 2009, No. 16 Fordham rolled past Holy Cross, 45-16, in its league opener
Saturday behind senior quarterback Michael Nebrich’s five total touchdowns.

Nebrich completed 32-of-42 pass attempts for 315 yards and four touchdowns,
including two to Brian Wetzel. He also rushed for one touchdown.

Fordham (4-1, 1-0) controlled the game clock for a whopping 42 minutes, 10
seconds. Freshman Chase Edmonds rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown on 26
carries.

Quarterback Pete Pujals had 332 total yards and two touchdown passes with one
interception for the Crusaders (2-3, 0-1).
