East Rutherford, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) – New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin
confirmed Tuesday that cornerback Prince Amukamara will miss the rest of the
season due to a torn biceps.
Amukamara suffered the injury in Monday’s loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
Amukamara had been the Giants’ best cornerback this year, recording 45 tackles
and three interceptions in eight games.
Coughlin said that the Giants will likely bring in a cornerback this week to
go with Chandler Fenner, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Zack Bowman, Jayron
Hosley and Mike Harris.
In other injury news, left guard Weston Richburg, who left the game with an
ankle injury, was having tests Monday.
The Giants play at Seattle this Sunday.
