Indiana QB Sudfeld out for season

Bloomington, IN (SportsNetwork.com) – Indiana quarterback Nate Sudfeld will
miss the rest of the season because of surgery to his left shoulder.

Hoosiers head coach Kevin Wilson made the announcement at his weekly news
conference on Monday.

Sudfeld separated his non-throwing shoulder midway through the second quarter
of Saturday’s loss at Iowa.

Sudfeld completed 60.5 percent of his passes for 1,151 yards with six
touchdowns and three interceptions this season.

Freshman Chris Covington will start at quarterback for Saturday’s home against
No. 8 Michigan State.
