Jacksonville, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – The Jacksonville Jaguars activated wide
receiver/punt returner Ace Sanders to the 53-man roster on Saturday.
Sanders missed the first four games of the season while serving a suspension
for violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy.
The South Carolina product caught 51 passes for 484 yards and one touchdown
during his rookie season in 2013.
Sanders is eligible to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. The
Jaguars, however, will be without rookie wide receiver Marqise Lee and wide
receiver Cecil Shorts.
Jacksonville waived tight end Mickey Shuler to make room for Sanders on the
roster.
