Detroit, MI (SportsNetwork.com) – Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson
is inactive for Sunday’s game against New Orleans because of a high ankle
sprain.
Johnson also missed last Sunday’s contest against Minnesota because of the
injury that severely limited his performance in games against Buffalo and the
New York Jets the previous two weeks. He missed practice all week and was
listed as questionable on the injury report.
The Lions will play next Sunday in London against Atlanta before their bye in
Week 9.
Tight ends Eric Ebron (hamstring) and Joseph Fauria (ankle) are also inactive
for Sunday’s game, as is running back Theo Riddick (hamstring).
