Doeren has suspended seven players for this Saturday’s game against
Louisville.
Wide receivers Johnathan Alston and Jumichael Ramos, defensive backs Josh
Jones and Mike Stevens, linebacker Jerod Fernandez and defensive linemen
Justin Jones and Pharoah McKever will sit out Saturday after a BB gun
incident.
“It’s going to be a next man in mentality for our team this week,” said Doeren
on Monday. “We need to help young men become better young men.”
Alston has 14 receptions for 131 yards with a touchdown for the Wolfpack this
season, while Fernandez leads the team with 58 tackles.
