Panthers sign OT Michael Oher

Charlotte, NC (SportsNetwork.com) – The Carolina Panthers signed free-agent
offensive tackle Michael Oher to a two-year contract on Friday.

Oher, 28, was waived by the Tennessee Titans last month after making 11 starts
in his only season with the team. He was placed on injured reserve in December
with a toe injury.

He started 80 consecutive games over five seasons with the Baltimore Ravens
between 2009-13, then signed a four-year, $20 million deal with the Titans
last offseason.

The 6-foot-4, 315-pound tackle has appeared in 10 playoff games and won a
Super Bowl title with the Ravens in February 2013.
