Raiders release Antonio Smith

Alameda, CA (SportsNetwork.com) – The Oakland Raiders released veteran
defensive lineman Antonio Smith on Tuesday.

Smith was set to count for $4 million against the salary cap in 2015.

The 33-year-old Smith started all 16 games for Oakland last season, recording
20 tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble.

The Oklahoma State product has recorded 302 tackles and 44 1/2 sacks in 157
NFL games with the Cardinals, Texans and Raiders.
