Ravens activate Cody from PUP

Owings Mills, MD (SportsNetwork.com) – The Baltimore Ravens activated nose
tackle Terrence Cody from the reserve/physically unable to perform list on
Tuesday.

In addition, the Ravens cut tight end Phillip Supernaw and cornerback Chykie
Brown and promoted cornerback Tramain Jacobs from the practice squad to the
activate roster.

Cody opened the season on the PUP list after having offseason hip surgery for
the second time in two years. He began practicing three weeks ago.

Under NFL rules, the Ravens had until this week to activate Cody or he would
have remained on the reserve list for the remainder of the season.

Cody, a former second-round draft pick, will back up Haloti Ngata and Brandon
Williams.

Brown appeared in seven games with one start this season.
