(SportsNetwork.com) – The Arizona Cardinals and quarterback Carson Palmer have
reportedly agreed on a three-year contract extension which will pay the former
USC product $50 million.
CBSSports.com was first to report the news on Friday.
Palmer, who was scheduled to become a free agent at the end of the season, has
led the Cards to their best eight-game record (7-1) since 1974 when the team
was based in St. Louis.
In only five games, he has completed 116-of-188 passes for 1,385 yards, 11
touchdowns and two interceptions.
