London, England (SportsNetwork.com) – Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo
will start Sunday’s game against Jacksonville despite two broken bones in his
back that kept him out of last week’s contest.
Romo was hurt during a Week 8 game on Monday night against Washington, which
Dallas lost in overtime, and missed last Sunday’s loss to Arizona.
The Cowboys have a bye next week, which could have given Romo extra time to
rest the injury, but he practiced both Thursday and Friday this week and had
been listed as probable on the team’s injury report.
Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain, listed as questionable Friday after not
practicing this week because of knee and groin injuries, is also active.
Defensive tackle Nick Hayden (shoulder) is also set to play Sunday.
