Vikings add Johnson to receiving corps

Eden Prairie, MN (SportsNetwork.com) – The Minnesota Vikings have signed wide
receiver Charles Johnson.

Johnson had been on the practice squad of the Cleveland Browns. He played in
all four preseason games for the Browns this summer and caught six passes for
65 yards.

The Grand Valley State product was selected by Green Bay in the seventh round
of the 2013 NFL Draft and joined the Browns’ practice squad last October. He
worked under current Vikings offensive coordinator Norv Turner with the Browns
last year.
