Vikings QB Cassel leaves

New Orleans, LA (SportsNetwork.com) – Minnesota Vikings quarterback Matt
Cassel left Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints with an apparent
lower left leg injury.

His return is questionable.

Cassel was injured while attempting to scramble for a first down on a
3rd-and-10 early in the second quarter. He was initially treated on the
sideline before being carted back into the locker room.

Rookie first-round pick Teddy Bridgewater took over for Cassel at quarterback.

Cassel was 5-of-10 for 53 yards before exiting.
