Landover, MD (SportsNetwork.com) – Charlie Whitehurst will start at
quarterback in place of Jake Locker for the Tennessee Titans in Sunday’s game
against the Washington Redskins.
Locker is inactive for the second straight week and third time in the last
four games because of a right thumb injury. He was limited in practice this
week and was listed as questionable on the injury report.
Whitehurst was 17-of-28 for 233 yards in last Sunday’s win over Jacksonville.
Running back Shonn Greene (hamstring) is also inactive.
