Winston says he’s back with Bengals

(SportsNetwork.com) – Veteran offensive tackle Eric Winston says he’s
returning to the Cincinnati Bengals.

“Excited to say I’m headed back to the Bengals!” Winston tweeted Tuesday.

The 31-year-old lineman, who is the president of the NFL Players Association,
was signed by the Bengals on Dec. 2 and appeared in their final four regular
season games, helping them clinch a playoff berth.

He was signed by Seattle last July but was cut a month later before the season
started and was out of the league until the Bengals picked him up.

Winston has played eight-plus NFL seasons, the first six with the Houston
Texans and one each for the Kansas City Chiefs and Arizona Cardinals.

The durable lineman started all 16 games in seven consecutive seasons from
2007-13.
